Employing the latest in innovative CAD/CAM technology and space age materials, you can now offer your customers restorations with unsurpassed strength, fit and aesthetics anywhere in the mouth (up to 16 units). Gunz Dental is proud to introduce the ZENO ® Tec CAD/CAM Milling System from Wieland Dental+Technik Germany. ZENO ® Tec has been available Internationally since 2003 and was one of the major attractions for both clinicians and technicians alike at the 2007 Cologne IDS Congress.
FLEXIBILITY OF OPTIONS
Should you mill it yourself or have it milled? With ZENO® you have a choice of options to suit your individual needs. From our scan and design service and attractive scanner packages all the way through to a full ZENO® Milling Centre, you have the option of adding ZENO® Hardware as your business grows.
SMART SCANNING TECHNOLOGY
– Say goodbye to wax ups
ZENO® Tec's state-of-the-art 3Shape 3D laser scanner offers unsurpassed accuracy and precision. The 3Shape Scanner works on a laser plane principle using two cameras. Scan anything from single dies to full arch articulated models, all points on the model surface (including undercuts) are captured in full by moving the object through all three axes of Rotation, Translation and Tilt. The 3 Shape Scanner software automatically recognises if certain areas have not been scanned and the missing sec-tion is rescanned from a different angle. The system's unparalleled accuracy of <20 µm ensures restorations with outstand-ing marginal integrity and fit without need for extra adjustments by technician or clinician. Typical scanning time for a single crown is 45-60 seconds. Your scanned model and design can then be emailed to any ZENO® Tec Milling Centre in Australia or Internationally.
Dental Designer Software
– Thinking like a Technician
No special computer skills are required to use the ZENO® Dental Designer Software. The application will automatically suggest the best path of insertion and design for your needs, you also have the ability to make customised modifications via your mouse. Pontics and connectors are automatically loaded into your design with Dental Designer even suggesting the best wall thickness for each coping depending on the material to be milled.
Easy for Clinicians, Easy for Technicians
The ZENO® Tec system is easy to work with because clinicians can prepare and cement like an ordinary porcelain-fused-to-metal restoration, with no dentine bonding required a valuable chair time saver! Using traditional crown & bridge chamfer preparations and cementation techniques, even 16 unit metal free bridges are not only predictable, but highly aesthetic. The other unique feature of the ZENO® Tec System is that the technician can ‘personalise' cementation preferences for each clinician ensuring the perfect fit of ZENO® Tec restorations. By ‘personalising' we mean that the ZENO® Tec Dental Designer Software will set parameters such as the film thickness of a clinician's chosen cement material and even the way it is applied (auto mix nozzle, instrument or applicator). These settings will automatically be applied to all their ZENO® Tec restorations whether they are crowns, veneers or bridges!
ZENO® CAM
If you prefer to design and mill in-house, the ZENO® CAM module helps you to manage your ZENO® discs in a highly productive manner. It will show which discs still have room for more work and you can even decide the order that the restorations need to be milled in, great for those priority jobs! All ZENO® discs are bar coded for tracking & identification purposes and quality control.
Flexibility of the ZENO® Milling Centres
If you decide on in-house milling, the decision as to what ZENO® milling Centre depends on what types of materials you plan to mill. All ZENO® Milling Centres are specifically designed for continuous use and are fully automated for overnight milling, this greatly enhances laboratory productivity.
The ZENO 4820 M1
Extremely robust, this machine has the ability to mill wet and dry simultaneously if desired. Fully automated tool changes means no supervision is required. This unit has the capacity to mill up to 120 units per day and is recommended for high production laboratories.
ZENO ¨ 4030 M1
This machine is ideal for laboratories planning only to mill dry materials such as zirconia, plastics and acrylics. Productivity remains extremely high with the capacity to mill 120 units per day with up to 60 units being milled overnight unsupervised.
ZENO® Tec OFFERS FLEXIBILITY OF MATERIAL
The ZENO® Tec System is the only CAD/CAM system on the market that offers technicians the widest choice of milled materials. Along with highest-grade zirconia, aluminium oxide and titanium, the ZENO® Tec system can also offer milled solutions in Acrylic and non-precious materials and is capable of custom designing implant abutments, no matter what the system.
ZENO ¨ Zirconia Disc
ZENO® Tec zirconia blanks are a unique Disc design formulated by Xawex (Ebmatingen/Zurich, Switzerland - patent pend-ing). All discs are manufactured from zirconia in its green phase and each disc has been manufactured with a precise crys-talline structure that has the ‘contraction behaviour' calculated into each individual disc. The clinical benefit of this is that you have total control over the contraction behaviour of every milled restoration and can choose the ZENO® Disc best suited to each individual case.
ZENO ¨ Pro Disc
The Pro Disc is available in classic A and B shades and can be used to mill temporary crowns, bridges and dentures and is especially useful for temporisation of Implant cases. The milled units can be layered with conventional composite materials and provide high-end marginal integrity during prosthetic procedures.
ZENO ¨ PMMA Disc
The PMMA disc is a translucent acrylic which is very quick and easy to mill and can be an invaluable communication tool between technician and clinician when undertaking large implant cases. Function and fit of the final restoration can be replicated on the dental model and adjusted if required prior to the permanent restoration being milled.
ZENO ¨ NP Disc
The ZENO® Tec System is the first to be able to offer a high quality, nickel free non-precious milling option for all PFM applications. This industrially manufactured material offers reliability, biocompatibility and quality.
ZENO ¨ Ti Disc
Titanium alloy boasts exceptional physical properties and biocompatibility and allows clinicians to consider long span bridges of up to 16 units without compromising marginal fit.

The AGC ® Electroforming System combines the biological
advantages of pure gold with the aesthetic advantages of all-ceramic restorations. Because the gold layer is only 0.2 mm thick more conservative preparations can be used, reducing gold costs by at least 50%. There is no need to etch healthy tooth structure as AGC ® copings can be cemented with clinically proven phosphate or glass-ionomer cements.
AGC ® restorations are scientifically proven to reduce the risk of plaque and because of their pure gold content it will not discolour the gingiva through dark metal margins, oxides, or corrosion products.
Full marketing materials and support are available to laboratories and dental surgeries.
