The Presenters

A/Prof. Peter Parashos

graduated from the University of Melbourne in 1980 and obtained his MDSc in 1989 and PhD in 2004. He is a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons, the American College of Dentists and the International College of Dentists. He is currently Associate Professor in Endodontics and Convener of Postgraduate Endodontics at the University of Melbourne. He also works in private Endodontic practice and is actively involved in CPD programmes in Endodontics. His contribution to endodontics in Victoria has earned him Honorary Life Membership of the Australian Society of Endodontology (Vic Branch).

Dr Mehdi Rahimi

Graduated with a BDS 1st class honours from the University of Otago (New Zealand) in 2002 and received his DClinDent in endodontics from the University of Melbourne in 2008. His Master’s thesis and research interest was on the topic of endodontic obturation materials and resin based sealers. He is an honorary member of the Pierre Fauchard research academy. He is also a member of the Royal Australian College of Dental Surgeons in endodontics and Australian Society of Endodontics. Mehdi is currently in private specialist practice as an endodontist in Sydney and is also actively involved in teaching endodontics at various continuing education levels. 

CPD

This course adheres to the Dental Board of Australia (AHPRA) CPD guidelines for 5.5 hours of Scientific (or Non-Scientific) Continuing Professional Education accreditation.
