Sopix is a new Digital X-Ray system that combines with Sopro imaging software, to give you the precise tools for new generation diagnostics. Its unique ECS (Exposure Control System) technology is easy to use, enabling you to set a timer once for all your pictures and will automatically compensate for all under and over exposures. more
The main advantage of the Sopix system is immediate image development. Just a few seconds after exposure, an X-Ray image is displayed on your PC monitor and the system is ready to take another image. All images can be saved in a patient's file and can be easily accessed at anytime.
The quality of the image is comparable or even better than that achieved by the best intra-oral X-ray films. The picture is faithfully rendered in gray scales, enabling in-depth examination for precise and efficient diagnosis.
Another advantage of the Sopix digital radiography system is reduced exposure time meaning a lower radiation dose for your patient.
There are 2 sizes of intra-oral sensors available for the Sopix system ?Size 1 and 2.
The picture resolution is 1.25 Mp for Size 1 and above 2 Mp for Size 2.
The system is fully plug-n-play so you can change the sensors at any time and Sopix automatically adjusts when it detects a new sensor.
The Sopix system is available in both USB and Wireless configurations. The core of both is a 32bit DSP (Digital System Processor). The only difference is the way it communicates with your PC.
The USB system connects to the USB port of your PC via a USB cable. It does not require any additional power supply but the range is limited by the USB cable. The Wireless system utilizes Bluetooth technology and operates within 10m distance from the DSP to a PC.
Both systems include a sensor holder, cabling and Sopro imaging software.

Sopro, part of Acteon group companies has launched 2 new intra-oral cameras called the Sopro 595 and 717. Both can be easily integrated into your dental unit while bench-top versions are also available.
more
Each camera can be connected to a video display and/or a PC and offer an easy way to freeze the image on a screen either by a foot-pedal or by using the patented Sopro-touch technology incorporated into each camera hand-piece.
The cameras are ideally suitable for utilization on several chairs being easy to connect and disconnect. The wireless hand-piece holder attaches anywhere allowing the cameras to be turned on/off automatically.
The Sopro 595 is a fixed-focused camera and it requires adjustment in orientation and distance from teeth only. It has a fixed lens with a long depth of field so several teeth and adjacent tissue can be in focus simultaneously. Its high quality optic system covers a field of 80 degrees and advanced integrated 8 LED lighting incorporates a defogging feature.

The Sopro 717 is a new generation variable focus camera. It has a focus control on the hand-piece with 3 modes ?extra-oral, intra-oral and macro. This camera requires frequent adjustment depending on a particular view. Close-up and extra-oral images are easily captured with Sopro 717 but it requires some efforts during the operation. The Ultra-fine head design of the Sopro 717 allows access to difficult posterior regions
The Sopro 717 intra-oral camera also offers a unique concept called the Sopro Shade Selectio n. With a single click the camera is transformed into a powerful tool that helps in your shade selection process.

Enjoy the convenience of pure water for your autoclave with a purpose designed, low maintenance Aquaclave Reverse Osmosis system, plumbed easily & neatly into your surgery's hygiene area. Using advanced membrane technology, Aquaclave can produce up to 50 litres of water daily at a fraction of the cost of bottled, distilled water. Aquaclave uses a high rejection-low production membrane, capable of molecular separation of dissolved minerals and salts.
Aquaclave incorporates two carbon pre-filters, which remove suspended solids chlorine and a patented manual flushing system to enhance the life and performance of the membrane. After fine separation via the membrane, two more carbon filters remove residue organic elements (including Giardia & Cryptosporidium), and traces of non-organic elements.
The system is controlled with a low voltage diaphragm pump, which guarantees the consistency of water pressure against the membrane. All fittings are provided, including a TDS meter, for checking total dissolved solids and a standard 11litre tank (20 Litre optional).
Under Gunz Dental's Aquaclave Maintenance Program, you will be contacted when cartridges and membrane are due for change. Filter cartridges must be changed every 6 months and membranes every 3 years.
